- The 'taste of Brooklyn' food crawl is coming to Flatbush this spring. On May 14, take yourself on a self-guided walking tour of the neighborhood, with special deals at 10 restaurants. Here's a map of the participating restaurants in Flatbush (and Prospect-Lefferts Garden.) (Patch)
- The Brave New World Repertory Theatre is holding a celebration in honor of Shakespeare's birthday, Saturday, April 23, on Stratford Road in Ditmas Park–which shares its name with the bard's birthplace Stratford Upon Avon. The day will feature four 20-minute long performances. The festivities will also play tribute to Flatbush's Haitian population with a Haitian dance finale and drumming. (Broadway World)
