Third Root to Hold Open House This Weekend

Ever wonder what goes on at Third Root Community Health Center, Ditmas Park's worker-owned cooperative of eight holistic healthcare practitioners? Find out this weekend at the Center's open house from 1-4:45 p.m. Â
The open house, which will educate interested parties on the services available at the center, will feature yoga, acupuncture, massage, herb teas tastings and kirtan.Â

Activities will take place all-day, including a yoga class for children, or "wee ones," up to two-years-old from 1-1:30 p.m., a community acupuncture and chair massage session from 1:45-3 p.m., an Iyengar yoga class from 3:30-4 p.m., and a kirtan session from 4-4:45 p.m.Â
In addition to courses, the open house is also a source of deals for future events. For instance, Anyone who attends the open house wee-ones yoga course will receive $5 off of a six-week course registration.
