'Voices of Lefferts,' a Prospect-Lefferts Garden and Flatbush–based publication dedicated to documenting the neighborhoods' history, is coming up short on cash, having not received much of the funding it was counting on this year. 2. A man, Omar Dasilva, turned himself in to police custody, after footage from a March 31 altercation showed him allegedly forcibly touching and abusing a woman on the street in East Flatbush. (NBC New York)
3. Despite a federal judge's Monday ruling against mask mandates on public transportation, straphangers on the MTA's subway, trains, and buses are still required to mask up, at least for the time being. (New York City Patch)
