WATCH: Moments Before Man Stabs Clerk at East Williamsburg Bodega

Police are searching for a man who they say stabbed a bodega clerk after an in-store argument Saturday.


EAST WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Brooklyn detectives are searching for a man they say stabbed a store clerk at an East Williamsburg bodega and fled the scene.

Police said there was a dispute around 2 a.m. Saturday between an employee and a customer at Williamsburg Deli, located at 168 Graham Ave. in East Williamsburg.

The dispute turned violent, police said, when the customer pulled out a knife and stabbed the employee.

The 33-year-old victim was taken to Wyckoff Hospital, where he was treated and released, police said.
