Commuting gets ugly as woman is assaulted after bag bumps into man
At 6 p.m. on Feb. 3, a 34-year-old woman told police she was walking out of the train station at the corner of Parade Place and Parkside Avenue her purse hit into a man. The two exchanged words and then the man punched her in her back. The woman followed the man until he went into an East 19 Street building, but she was unable to get into the building.Â

Man finds car broken into, perps get away empty-handed
At 6 p.m. on Feb. 3, a  45-year-old man parked his car on the corner of East 22nd Street and Farragut Road and when he returned to the car, he discovered someone had broken into his front passenger side window. Nothing was taken from the car.Â

Woman fears for safety as landlord gets testyÂ
At 7:47 p.m. on Feb. 4, a 33-year-old woman told police her ex-landlord threatened her on Albemarle Road near Church Avenue, saying he knew her children and if she didn't pay him, he knew how to make her pay. The ex-landlord also came to the woman's job asking for the woman. Â
Man arrested for packing blade
At approximately 1:40 p.m. on Feb. 7, a 22-year-old man was arrested on East 18th Street near Church Avenue for possessing a gravity knife, which he had out in the open. Â
