- Mayor Adams announced a law suit Thursday against one of New York City's "worst landlords," Moshe Piller, whose 15 buildings in The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan have amassed a total of 1,900 violations. One of Piller's buildings is 730-760 Rogers Avenue in Flatbush's Little Caribbean. (New York City Patch)
- A new educational nonprofit, Women of Color in Cannabis (WOCC), was founded by Flatbush native Shaloma Wagstaffe, who says she was disappointed at the lack of diversity in the industry. Her group will educate aspiring Black and brown entrepreneurs throughout the five boroughs. (Ganjapreneur)
- A developer has filed permits to build a 7-story building with over 300 housing units at 119 East 22nd Street in Flatbush. The location is currently home to a vacant lot. (New York YIMBY)
