$24M Lotto Ticket From Tribeca Bodega Claimed
The soon-to-be millionaire found the ticket two days before it was set to expire.

TRIBECA, NY — The missing $24.1 million lottery ticket that a lucky shopper purchased in a Tribeca bodega was found and claimed on Tuesday, two days before the ticket was set to expire.
The New York Lottery announced that the winner had located the ticket thanks to news coverage of the lottery pot and its unidentified winner. After seeing news coverage of the ticket, the winner searched their home and found the lucky combination among other old tickets, according to a statement from the New York Lottery. The winner had purchased the ticket at Renu Corp Grocery & Tobacco, 158 Church St., on May 25 of last year. Shop owners put up a sign in the bodega as time began to ran out for their lucky customer.
