CITY HALL, NY — How do you do, fellow smoothie drinkers?
Mayor Eric Adams joined Gen Z's favorite social media outlet on Monday sipping a green smoothie and jamming to Beyonce at City Hall.
"Bing bong, New York City. Your mayor’s on TikTok," the 61-year-old mayor told the camera, referring to the viral "Sidetalk" New York City meme. "Let’s get stuff done.”

It is the latest youthful appeal from Adams, who has taken his paychecks in cryptocurrency and is often dubbed the "nightlife mayor" for his Tito's and seltzer-filled outings at New York City clubs.
And though perhaps not the "How do you do, fellow kids?" cringe level of his predecessor, New Yorkers still spared no time in roasting the mayor's social media attempt.
"You don’t need a tik tok when you never miss a photo opp," wrote on New Yorker.
"Just another level of “LOOK AT ME!!!” from Eric Adams," said another. "Great work Mr Swagger."
A third simply replied, "No."
