Suspicious Package Near Stock Exchange Was Toy: NYPD
Police warned people to stay away from the intersection of Broadway and Exchange Street while the bomb squad operated on scene.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — A suspicious package located blocks away from Lower Manhattan landmarks such as Trinity Church and the New York Stock Exchange was deemed safe, police officials said.
The package, which was located near the intersection of Broadway and Exchange Place, was identified as a toy, police said. Police had closed off a large stretch of Broadway as the NYPD bomb squad operate on the scene.
Delays in the area are expected as police open streets back up to traffic.
