TRIBECA, NY – A man was killed when he was hit by an object at a construction site next to the Holland Tunnel early Saturday, police said.Gregory Echevarria, 34, from Brooklyn, was working at the site at 111 Varick St, near Broome St., when a counterweight fell from a crane and crushed him, according to the <a href="https://nypost.com/2019/04/13/worker-killed-at-construction-site-near-holland-tunnel/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">New York Post.</a>He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
