Subway Flasher Groped Woman, Police Say

Police are searching for a man who they say flashed a woman and then put his hand up her skirt in a Tribeca subway station.

TRIBECA, NY — Police are searching for a man who flashed a woman while riding the subway and then put his hand under her skirt after she exited the train in an incident last week, authorities said.

The subway flasher was riding a southbound E train on Nov. 20 at about 8 p.m. when he flashed a 20-year-old woman riding in the same car as him, the NYPD said. When the woman left the train at the Chambers street station, the flasher followed her, according to police. The man approached the woman from behind and put his hand under her skirt, touching her inner thigh, the NYPD said.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the man. They released a photo of the suspected flasher and say he is about 35 years old.
