Two Men Rescued After Boat Overturns In Hudson River

The capsized vessel launched one man into the Hudson River and left the other standing on the boat's hull.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — Emergency responders rescued two men from the Hudson River Monday after their boat flipped over, the Coast Guard said.

The small boat floated between Jersey City and the Financial District at about 3:30 p.m. when the vessel capsized, launching one man into the river and leaving the other clinging on the boat's hull, officials said.

Both men were rescued and no injuries were reported. It is unclear why the boat capsized, authorities said.
