Watch Live: Baby Falcons Have Hatched In The Financial District

Two baby falcons have hatched at their urban nest on a high-rise at 55 Water St.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — Two fuzzy Peregrine falcons have hatched in their Financial District nest, and more siblings may be on the way.

Proud parents Adele and Frank have lived for years in an urban nest perched on the 14th floor of the 54-story skyscraper at 55 Water St. Every year, their nesting season is live-streamed by the building's management, and the happy couple have welcomed two baby falcons so far this year. The new kids have been named Ace and Bobby D., according to the NYPD's first precinct.

There might be more kids still to come: At least four different eggs were spotted by dedicated live-stream watchers in April. Last year, three baby falcons were born at the lower Manhattan perch. You can watch the brothers, who appear to be fast friends, resting in their nest while waiting for their parents to deliver food:
