Watch Live: Tiny, Fluffy Chicks Make Their Debut In FiDi Nest

The newest residents of Water Street are three fuzzy peregrine falcon chicks.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — The skyscraper at 55 Water Street is home to three fluffy new residents.

Three peregrine falcons have hatched in their Financial District nest in the last week, and a 24/7 live camera allows you to watch their every move from the nest:

Three falcons have already hatched, with one more egg still to come.

The birds live outside the skyscraper at 55 Water St., where they've maintained a dedicated following thanks to the live web camera that sits outside their nest on the 14th floor of the 54-story building.

The current falcon parents are named Frank and Adele. Peregrine falcons have been among the most consistent tenants of 55 Water Street. The birds have lived outside the building since 1999 when the first couple, named Jack and Diane, moved in. Since then, generations of birds have returned to the building.
