Artist Andy Warhol’s Montauk home was recently put on the market for $85 million.

While Warhol lived in the state, known as ’Eothen’ meaning from the east, he often hosted events with celebrities such as Jackie Onassis, Mick Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor and John Lennon. Warhol died in 1987.

The home, located on 16 Cliff Drive and 8 Old Montauk Highway, contains 9 bedrooms and 11 and a half bathrooms. It was originally built in the 1930s as a fishing camp by the Church family (makers of the Arm and Hammer baking soda fortune).

The 5.7-acre property also includes six individual cottages, a 24-acre equestrian facility and two restored barns.

It has been listed by Douglas Elliman under listing agents Paul Brennan and Ronald White.
