Ashley Olsen Is House-Hunting In The Hamptons

Looks like the Olsen twin is looking for her own full house.

EAST HAMPTON, NY - Seems like Ashley Olsen, who turned the big 3-0 on June 13, is celebrating in style as she was spotted looking at Hamptons properties that were for sale and for rent.

“Should I rent or buy?” is the first real estate question Hamptons visitors encounter when they start house-hunting and the fashionably savvy Olsen isn’t any different.

The Hamptons celeb real estate market started buzzing when the NY Post’s Jennifer Gould Keil reported that Ashley Olsen was seen with Matthew Breitenbach of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Olsen was checking out a very charming three-bedroom/two bathroom wood-shingled home with its own dock in Sagaponack.

Situated on 1.5 acres, the 2,400-square-foot waterfront property has plenty of character along with a wood-beamed ceiling in the master bedroom and a fireplace in the large living room. The house has a $4.99 million price tag attached to it, reports the Observer, down from a high of $6.5 million two years ago. The listing agent is Angela Boyer-Stump of Sotheby's International Realty.

Olsen also looked at summer rentals priced at $200,000 for the season.

Olsen is no stranger to the Hamptons as she and her twin, Mary-Kate Olsen, were judges for last year’s Hampton Classic Boutique Contest along with Ashley Cline of EquestrianStylist.com. Plus she and Mary-Kate, with Mary-Kate’s husband, Olivier Sarkozy, have been spotted out here numerous times.

The Olsen twins run a high-end fashion empire, The Row, and Ashley also has an eye for New York City real estate. Just last month, in May, the Wall Street Journal reported she was in contract to buy a 3,000-square-foot condo in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village.
