Compass Launches Third Hamptons Office

Compass, local real estate company, recently announced that they have launched a new Sag Harbor office.

The office, located on 84 Main Street, previously home to Strough Real Estate Brokerage.

Scott Strough, Principal Broker, and the eight-person office team will operate under Compass effective immediately.

The new location will mark the company’s third opening in the Hamptons over the past three months.

In October, Compass opened their first Hamptons office in Bridgehampton followed by the opening of their East Hampton location in November.

“Sag Harbor is an important and increasingly popular sub-market in the Hamptons, and the Compass brand needed to have a presence here,” Robert Reffkin, Founder and CEO of Compass said. “[Scott’s] deep knowledge of the area, along with the expertise of these outstanding agents, will help us to better serve our client base across the East End.”

Strough founded his own brokerage in 1995, which quickly grew into one of the most recognizable names in Hamptons real estate.

He also served as President of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Southampton for 17 years.
