1 Killed In Crash On Northern State Parkway
Police are investigating the Thursday afternoon crash, and ask anyone with information to come forward.
UPDATE: State police have identified the driver as Brandon Wilson, 34, of Westbury.
WESTBURY, NY — A person was killed in a crash on the Northern State Parkway in Westbury Thursday afternoon, state police said.
According to New York State Police, a car was heading east on the Northern State east of exit 34 when it left the road and went onto the shoulder, hitting two trees and a light pole. The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m.

Police say the driver, who they have not yet identified, died at the scene.
