2 Dead In Apparent Murder/Suicide: Nassau Police
BREAKING: Police are investigating the incident, which left a 28-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man dead.
UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police are investigating a murder/suicide that left two people dead Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a home on Laclede Avenue in Uniondale at 7:59 a.m. for a call of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a 28-year-old woman lying in the street with gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
An investigation led police to Greenfield Cemetery, at 650 Nassau Road in Uniondale, which was about two miles from where the first shooting occurred. At the cemetery, police found a 31-year-old man who had shot himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not yet released the names of anyone involved. The investigation is ongoing.
