The Third Annual “Cruise to the Show” Parade and Car Show Comes to East Meadow

The event, which took place in Eisenhower Park, included a parade, awards and a free concert.

The Third Annual “Cruise to the Show” Parade and Car Show was held in East Meadow on Sunday.  The event, which started at Briarcliffe College in Bethpage, concluded in Eisenhower Park.

More than 1,000 vehicles of all makes and models followed the parade route from Stewart Avenue to Eisenhower.

The event included: live entertainment, an autograph session with George Barris and displays by the Nassau County Firefighters Museum, the Cradle of Aviation and the Long Island Children’s Museum. Trophies were also distributed to attendees.

During the car show, rock guitarist, saxophonist and singer-songwriter Eddie Money performed a free concert at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre.
