Clarke Students Participate in FIRST Robotics Competition
The high school won six competitions and placed 16th out of 50 schools.

Students from W.T. Clarke High School participated in the 14th Annual Long Island Regional FIRST Robotics Competition at Hofstra University on Saturday.
Clarke students won six competitions and placed 16th out of 50 schools.
Students received their robotic kits six weeks before the competition and put together a moving robot with the assistance of their advisors.
The First Robotics Competition gives high school students the opportunity to learn from professional engineers, build and compete with a robot of their own design, learn and use sophisticated software and hardware, compete and cooperate in alliances and tournaments and qualify for more than $16 million in college scholarships.
