Crunch Opens Fifth Long Island Gym in East Meadow
The fitness club admitted members to newly renovated 30,000 square-foot facility early Monday.

EAST MEADOW, NY - Crunch opened a new gym at 2501 Hempstead Tpke. early Monday.
Starting at 4 a.m., new members were admitted to the 30,000-square-foot renovated facility that replaces the former MJM Designer Shoes space adjacent to Panera Bread.
The gym in East Meadow is the fifth for Crunch’s Long Island franchise owner Lew Breslau, a Massapequa resident. The other gyms are in Amityville, Bellmore, Hauppauge, and West Babylon. Crunch has more than 300 gyms nationwide and internationally.

Open to members of virtually all ages, Crunch in East Meadow offers everything from group classes for yoga and spin cycling, to treadmills and ellipticals, to high-intensity interval training (HITT) and free weights, including Olympic bars and plates.
