East Meadow School District Names New Assistant Superintendent
Dave Spinnato comes to East Meadow after a 20-year career in education.
EAST MEADOW, NY — Longtime educator Dave Spinnato has joined the East Meadow School District.
Spinnato is the district's new assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction.
Spinnato has worked in schools across Nassau County for two decades. He began in education as a secondary school teacher in the Sewanhaka Central High School District.

In 2018, Spinnato was named the director of technology in the Elmont Union Free School District, before being appointed assistant superintendent for curriculum and technology last year.
"I’m really looking forward to meeting all of the faculty and staff members at each building in the district," Spinnato said. "We have an amazing administrative team here in East Meadow and I’m really excited to work with them."

Spinnato attended St. John's University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Master of Science in adolescent education.
