The East Meadow Fire Department will host its annual Fire Prevention Day Open House Sunday between noon and 4 p.m. at Fire Headquarters, 197 East Meadow Avenue.
Attractions will include live fire demonstrations, educational hand outs, free gifts, vehicle extrication, fire truck rides, complimentary food, a visit from Smokey the Bear and more.
