Dr. Munchies: Dr. Munchies will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 8, and will re-open Wednesday at 11 a.m., according to an alert on its Facebook page.
Mini College Fairs: Mini college fairs will be held at East Meadow High School and W. Tresper Clarke High School Tuesday. College representatives from various schools across and outside of New York State are expected to attend.
Comedy Show Tickets: Tickets for the Friends of EMPL Comedy Extravaganza scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 20, are available Tuesday at 9 a.m. and again at 6 p.m. in person at the East Meadow Public Library in the downstairs meeting room. The show, an afternoon of stand-up comedy with emcee Mark Brier, is the Friends' most popular show of the year.
