Loaded 9MM Ruger Handgun, MDMA Found After Drug Sale In Uniondale: Cops
A pair of men were seen in a drug sale, and one became "combative" when approached, Nassau police said.

UNIONDALE, NY — A Laurelton man was arrested on gun and drug possession on Sunday after he was caught during an alleged drug sale with a loaded 9mm Ruger handgun and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine pills on Sunday, Nassau said.
Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team officers on patrol in Uniondale saw a drug sale between two men at around 9 p.m., and when they approached and stopped the pair in front of a Nassau Road location, one of them "became combative."
No one was injured.

A loaded 9mm Ruger and three Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, or MDMA, pills were recovered from Zayne Henry Barnaby, 41, of Laurelton, and a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine was recovered from a 44-year-old Roosevelt man.
Barnaby is charged with second-third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies. He was additionally charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a firearm, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors.

The Roosevelt man was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Patch does not identify arrestees charged with misdemeanors.
They will both be arraigned on Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
