N. Bellmore Gas Station Robbed

A N. Bellmore gas station was robbed at gunpoint Monday night, according to Nassau County Police.

At 9:03 p.m., a man with a black handgun demanded cash from a clerk inside Road Ready Gas Station, located at 2786 N. Jerusalem Road, cops said.

The clerk cooperated and handed an unknown amount of cash to the man, who fled south on Bellmore Road on foot, police said.

The clerk was not injured in the robbery.

Cops said the man had a muscular build and was wearing a mask, dark jeans, a gray sweatshirt, a red baseball cap with a black brim and a “P” on the front, and blue surgical gloves.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
