Nassau Chicken Restaurant Robbed Overnight

Police say someone broke into the restaurant and stole thousands of dollars.

WESTBURY, NY — A chicken restaurant was robbed early Tuesday morning, and Nassau County police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Someone broke into Chicken Delight, located at 476 Maple Ave. in Westbury, between midnight and 7 a.m. Police say the entered through an unlocked front door, then damaged an interior door and a coin machine. They stole about $2,000 in cash, then fled.

Police ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or to call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
