Nassau County Residents Encouraged To Gather For 9/11 Memorial Service
It takes place at Eisenhower Park on the 23rd anniversary of the attacks.
EAST MEADOW, NY — Residents are invited to reflect at the county's 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at Eisenhower Park.
The solemn 9/11 proceeding starts with internationally-known vocalist Christopher Macchio at 6 p.m.
County Executive Bruce Blakeman is expected to attend at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater.
