Police ID Man Murdered In Nassau County Park
Police are still asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police have identified a man who was shot to death in a park earlier this week.
According to police, officers arrived at a park in Uniondale just before 9 p.m. on July 19 and found 21-year-old Walter Ochoa Jr., of Uniondale. He had suffered a gunshot wound, and was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.
Police are still investigating. Anyone with information about the murder is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
