Spring Gardening School Workshops at East Meadow Farm

The Garden-Based Learning programs are horticulture programs that are designed for hobbyist gardeners. These introductory workshops provide participants with new information and the confidence to improve their own gardens and landscapes.

Vegetable Gardening: We all like food– so let’s grow what we like! Find out the general needs of vegetables, and specific ways to grow the ones you want for your table, while learning from the examples in our demonstration gardens.

Program Cost: $30 Recommended Age: Adult

Container Gardening: Think you need a big property to grow food? Think again – there are edible plants for any space and situation! Learn about food-growing techniques and options that are adaptable to tight spaces.
