Students Receive Visit From National Theatre of the Deaf
Students were given an opportunity to sharpen their sign language skills.

Students who are enrolled in East Meadow School District's American Sign Language (ASL) courses, recently attended an assembly with performances given by the Little Theatre of the Deaf, a children's ensemble troupe of the National Theatre of the Deaf, according to the East Meadow School District.
Using props, the actors combined the spoken word with sign language during a performance of their show, “The W 5.” During this act, students were asked to identify the essential components of the story including “who, what, when, where and why.”
