Uniondale School District Board Trustee Adelina Blanco-Harvey Recognized For Community Advocacy in the Region

UNIONDALE, NEW YORK (AUGUST 2023)—Adelina Blanco-Harvey, a trustee on the Uniondale Union Free School District Board of Education, was recently recognized on two separate occasions for her initiatives and dedicated service to Uniondale and the surrounding community. The first was a proclamation from County Executive Bruce Blakeman for her work in coordinating the 2023 International Music and Salvadoran American Heritage Night. The second was an acknowledgement by Town of Hempstead Supervisor Donald X. Clavin Jr. for her work to advance cultural activities throughout the Town and advocate for the Salvadoran American community.
