Vacant Nassau Business Under Construction Burglarized: Police

A commercial floor scraping machine valued at $60,000 was stolen from the location, police said.

EAST MEADOW, NY — A vacant business under construction was burglarized on Monday afternoon, police said.

An unknown person, or multiple people, pried open a lock box and the entered the building at 2565 Hempstead Turnpike with the key, police said.

An investigation revealed that a commercial floor scraping machine, valued at $60,000, was removed from the location, authorities said.

The person, or persons, fled in an unknown direction, police said.
