EAST MEADOW, NY — Three East Meadow kids got the best Christmas present they could ask for this year: their dad.
Andrew Vardakis has been stationed in Bahrain with the U.S. Coast Guard since April. But on Monday, he came home and surprised his daughters.
He first went to McVey Elementary School, where he surprised Holly and Sophia, who were at a concert in the school gym. After that reunion, he headed to Kiddie Junction Pre-School in Levittown to surprise his youngest, Olivia.
