Woman Accused Of Shoplifting, Ramming Security Guard With Cart: NCPD

EAST MEADOW, NY — A robbery on Tuesday at Stop & Shop turned violent when a woman suspected of leaving the store with $360 of unpaid items struck an asset protection agent with a shopping cart before driving away, according to Nassau County police.
Police responded to the supermarket on Hempstead Turnpike at 7:30 p.m.
They are seeking a suspect described as a female white in her thirties, with brown hair, wearing a light colored t-shirt, black shorts and flip flops.
