• Ellenville Regional Hospital gets $31K from auxiliary (dailyfreeman.com) — Ellenville Regional Hospital just received a record $31,000 pledge from its Auxiliary, money that will go straight into supporting local healthcare services. After a year of theater and luncheon fundraisers, street fairs, and a photo exhibit at the Ellenville library, the volunteer-run gift shop and other efforts helped deliver the largest donation in the Auxiliary’s 102-year history. 
• Local Officials Struggle to Slow Down Route 209 (shawangunkjournal.com) — Recent crashes on Route 209 have killed and injured several Ellenville residents, highlighting long-standing safety concerns on the state-controlled highway from Hurley through Wawarsing and Kerhonkson.
