• ‘A morning that has been made radiant' (bridgeportdiocese.org) — A deacon from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Elmsford helped vest newly ordained transitional deacon Herley Mendez during a radiant ordination Mass in Danbury on December 6. Bishop Frank Caggiano reflected on their long journeys from Colombia and Italy to ministry in Connecticut, urging the new deacons to preach most powerfully through their actions as they begin assignments in Fairfield and Bridgeport.
