The last Sears on Long Island is no more as of Tuesday. A teen girl is missing from Inwood. A mother battling Stage 4 breast cancer has a message. And some Nassau households will be getting a check in the mail soon.

1. Patch explains that Long Island's last Sears store has closed its doors. The location was in Massapequa's Sunrise Mall and was shuttered as of Tuesday. (Patch)
2. The LI Herald reports that a teenager from Inwood was reported missing on Monday night. Jennifer Hernandez, 15, was last seen leaving her Doughty Boulevard home. (LI Herald)
3. News 12 Long Island talks to a 37-year-old mother of two from Levittown who is fighting stage 4 breast cancer. Adina Perullo wants to raise awareness that metastatic breast cancer is underfunded and encourage others to fight for a cure. (News 12)
4. Nassau County has approved County Exec Laura Curran's plan to send households $375 in direct pandemic relief funds. The checks will come to households with property tax exemptions. (News 12)
