Woman, 30, Holding Teddy Bear Hit By Car In Nassau: PD

The driver of Wednesday morning's crash is sought by state police.

VALLEY STREAM, NY — Police are seeking information regarding a hit-and-run that took place Wednesday morning on the Southern State Parkway.

A car struck a pedestrian east of Exit 13 at approximately 5:45 a.m., state police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver struck a black woman who is approximately 30 years old and was holding a large teddy bear.
