Woman Arrested In Lawrence For Endangering Welfare Of Child
Defendant left one year-old daughter locked inside car for 15 minutes, according to police.

The Nassau County Police Department's Fourth Precinct reported the arrest of a Far Rockaway woman for Endangering the Welfare of a Child that occurred on July 11 at 3:00 p.m. in Lawrence.
According to police, defendant Shanequa Mason, 22, left her one year-old daughter inside a locked 1997 Toyota Camry for approximately 15 minutes. The defendant left the child while she shopped in a store at 345 Rockaway Turnpike.
A Nassau County Ambulance responded and the child was examined by an Advanced Medical Technician. She was unharmed and released to a family member.

Mason is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and will appear at First District Court in Hempstead on July 25.
