Bacon And Beer Festival Will Come To Flushing This Fall
Dozens of restaurants and breweries will take over the USTA National Tennis Center for the "Bacon And Beer Classic" on Sept. 29

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Foodies and beer snobs, mark your calendar - a bacon and brew bonanza is coming to Queens this fall.
The "Bacon and Beer Classic" will take over the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing on Sept. 29, bringing with it bacon-infused dishes from more than 50 local chefs and craft beers from more than 150 regional breweries, organizers said.
Organizers bill the event as "one massive festival devoted to the best things in life: bacon and beer," according to their website. The annual blowout tours stadiums across the country to connect an ever-growing following of "millennial foodies and beer-lovers" with the best meat and brews in their city.

Queens is among 11 stops on the festival's 2018 lineup, joining foodie destinations such as Denver, Nashville and Seattle. Participating restaurants in the borough include the Queens Bully in Forest Hills and Jägerhaus in Whitestone. View the full list of mouth-watering food vendors and buzzworthy breweries here.
The festival will also feature live music, games and - naturally - a bacon eating contest. Tickets are all-inclusive and range from $65 for general admission to $135 for VIP. You can buy them here.

General admission ticket holders can choose either an "afternoon" session from 1 to 4 p.m. or an "evening" session from 7 to 10 p.m. During that time they'll have full reign of the National Tennis Center while feasting on unlimited amounts of bacon and craft beer.
Power Hour tickets are also available for each session and, for an extra $30, will get you one extra hour of tasting before the general admission rush, along with first dibs on your favorite dishes and beers.
VIP tickets combine both benefits with exclusive access to the USTA's Premium Show Court, a court-side photo-op in the Arthur Ashe Stadium and three dishes not available in general admission.
All those perks pale in comparison, though, to the "pork belly tasting and donut wall" that's advertised exclusively for VIP ticket holders.
