Burglar Broke Into Flushing Office Twice In A Week: NYPD

The business owner caught the thief on camera sneaking into the building through a back window, police said.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a perp who was allegedly caught breaking into the same Flushing business twice in one week.

The suspect first snuck into 329 Service Corp, a business on the second floor of 133-43 Roosevelt Ave., through a back window at about 2 a.m. on Aug. 11, cops said.

He stole costume jewelry and about $100 in cash from the 50-year-old business owner before sliding back out through the window and fleeing, police said.

Six days later, the perp returned to the same spot.

This time, the business owner caught him sneaking into the building at about 3 a.m. from his camera at home, authorities said.

The man snatched $20 from his desk before escaping through the building's front door, cops said.

Police described the perp as a 40-year-old man last seen wearing a white T-shirt, colored pants and work boots.
