The Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce, GrowNYC and Crystal Window Foundation hosted an art exhibit, “2022: The King is Fearless," with artwork by Shih Pao Lin using the symbolism of the tiger (one of twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac) to convey a message of strength, bravery, and vitality for the coming Year of the Tiger.

This event took place at the Maple Playground Greenmarket and is part of the Museum Without Doors program organized by the Chamber featuring artists. Shih Pao Lin, whose work highlights issues of environmental sustainability, presented four sculptures made of 30,000 recycled MTA Metro Cards donated by hundreds of New Yorkers over many years.

At the exhibit, community members were joined by Councilman Peter Koo; Forrest Y. F. Chen, Director of the Flushing Culture Center of the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office; members of the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce, including senior advisor Alice Lee and executive director John Choe; and Thomas Chen, founder of the Crystal Window Foundation.
