Murder Suspected After Teen Found Dead In Queens Park: NYPD

Cops are investigating Andy Peralta's death as a murder after the 17-year-old's body was found with head trauma in Kissena Park on Tuesday.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- The death of 17-year-old boy whose body was found in a Flushing park is being investigated as a murder, police said Friday.

Hikers discovered Andy Peralta's dead body in a wooded area of Kissena Park near 161st Street at around noon on Tuesday, police told Patch. Cops and medics responding to the 911 call determined the Corona teen suffered trauma to his head.

The NYPD declared Peralta's death a homicide following an autopsy by the Medical Examiner's office.

A woman who identified herself as Peralta's "bride" took to his Facebook account on Wednesday to express her grief and vowing to find the "culprits" responsible for his murder in a post written in Spanish.

"Rest in peace my king," the translated post read. "I love you and I will never forget you."
