WATCH: Thieves Jump Teen, Steal His Shoes in Flushing
Surveillance footage shoes the trio tackling the 17-year-old to the ground before running off with his shoes and wallet.
FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a trio of thieves caught on tape tackling a 17-year-old boy in Flushing and running off with his shoes and wallet in broad daylight.
The NYPD released surveillance footage on Tuesday of the three men sneaking up behind the teen at around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday while he was standing outside BC 11 Construction on Quince Avenue.
One man is shown grabbing the teen by his waist and knocking him down, while the other two join in soon after and begin pulling his shoes off.

The three then flung the teen to the ground, hopped into a white four-door sedan and sped north on Quince Ave. They made off with his shoes and wallet, which contained $10 and a debit card, police said.
The teen was sent to Flushing Hospital for cuts to his knees and arms in stable condition.

Police described the three suspects as men between 17 and 20 years old. The first wore a white T-shirt and dark pants, the second wore a black hoodie and red sweatpants, and the third wore a red T-shirt and dark pants.
