Woman Steals Designer Purse From Flushing Boutique: NYPD

The woman swiped a nearly $2,000 purse from the Luxury of New York boutique, police say.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Cops are searching for a woman who shoplifted a designer purse worth nearly $2,000 from the shelves of a Flushing boutique.

The woman was browsing Luxury of New York at 141-43 Northern Blvd. the afternoon of April 23 when she swiped the pricey purse valued at around $1,990 and fled in an unknown direction, police said.

On Tuesday, the NYPD released surveillance photos of the woman, who police described as around 35 to 40 years old with black hair and a medium build. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, a blue skirt and a pink and white scarf.
