FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — An aggrieved customer suspected of gunning down a Forest Hills delivery worker mid-shift was arrested Wednesday and faces murder charges, according to police and reports.

Glenn Hirsch, 51, has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the deadly shooting of Zhiwen Yan, 45, a longtime delivery worker at the Great Wall Chinese restaurant and father-of-three, police announced Thursday.

Hirsch stands accused of fatally shooting Yan in the chest on April 30 while the two were stopped at a red light, the NYPD said.

Police previously said they wanted to question a disgruntled customer in connection to the shooting, law enforcement sources told multiple outlets.

The customer in question menaced staff with a gun, vandalized their vehicles and harassed them outside of the restaurant after a duck sauce dispute last year, the New York Post reported. Police identified Hirsch as the aggrieved customer to The Post.

Neighbors in Forest Hills have spent the past month since the shooting demanding justice. Yan's widow has been among those leading the charge.

"Me and my family [are] scared," she said, speaking through an interpreter at a vigil last month honoring her late husband. "NYC... you owe an explanation to the Chinese community."

Yan was remembered by co-workers, family and neighbors as a caring community member and loving father. His funeral took place at the end of May, according to a news release.
