Bar Fight In Forest Hills Leaves One Young Man Shot: NYPD

What started as an argument at the Lowkey Garden Lounge on Austin Street late Sunday night ended in a 28-year-old getting shot, police said.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A young man was shot and wounded during an argument at a Forest Hills bar late Sunday night, according to police.

The 28-year-old man, who multiple reports identified as a bouncer, got into a fight with an as-yet-unidentified person at the Lowkey Garden Lounge, a bar on Austin Street, about 11:45 p.m.,police said.

During the fight, the assailant pulled out a gun and shot the 28-year-old, according to the NYPD.

The young man was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, and the person who shot him ran off, said police, who were still looking for the assailant as of Monday.
