Forest Hills Hospital Bomb Threat Spurs 'Precautionary' Search: NYPD
Officials were still searching the building an hour and a half after the threat, but the hospital wasn't evacuated, police said.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A bomb threat at a Forest Hills hospital sent police patrolling the complex Tuesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
First responders rushed to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills at 66th Road and 102nd Street about 3 p.m., an NYPD spokesperson said.
The hospital was not evacuated — suggesting a minimal threat — but police opted to conduct a "precautionary search," the spokesperson said.

Police were still searching the hospital as of 4:30 p.m., according to the spokesperson.
The NYPD declined to answer specific questions about who issued the threat or what kind of device police were looking for.
